Sunday:

Sunday Worship Service: 10:00am.  Communion services are the first Sunday of the month.

Sunday School and Nursery Services

Occurring each Sunday throughout the year, including summertime (2015)  children are welcome to enjoy a Bible lesson and fun activity in the church hall while parents hear the Pastoral message.

(children are excused from the service after initial worship time).

Children of all ages are invited to participate in Sunday School, but programming is usually geared to children aged 5-12 while a nursery worker is available for children under 5 years old.

Choir

Our Choir usually sings on the second and fourth Sundays of every month.  We meet for practice every Thursday evening at 7:30 pm.  To join, or for more information, contact our Music Director, Myrna Sloboda.

 

Youth Unlimited On Target Archery

All youth are welcome to come out  to the church Tuesdays from 3-5 p.m.  to learn about archery.  Please call Al Cavers at 705-341-3978 for more information about this exciting youth program. 

Friends

An Inter-Denominational women’s group presenting a varied program focused on local services provided and offered in our community. Our evenings are all about “Faith, Fellowship, and Fun”! Meetings occur at the church on the second Wednesday of each month with the exception of January, June, July, and August.

Men’s Group

Open to men of all ages, this group meets regularly on Saturdays for “coffee break” socials at 10:00 am. We also meet six times throughout the year with a delicious meal (usually breakfast or dinner)! Our Mission Statement: “That we will be a leading and dynamic force in the spiritual life of our church, reaching out to our community at all generation levels.”  Call the church for more details.

SHOP & SUPPORT GIFT CARD PROGRAM

Purchase gift cards at face value ($25.00, $50.00, $100.00) and the church receives a percentage towards fundraising (3-10%).  Food Basics, Presidents Choice, Shoppers Drug Mart, Ultramar, Canadian Tire, Giant Tiger, etc.  Great for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas or thank you gifts.  Call the church for details. 

MYRTLE’S MISSION

In memory of Myrtle Foote, a long-standing member of CSBC, the Missions Committee continues Myrtle’s love for children hurting around the globe by excepting items through the year to pack shoeboxes to send in November via Operation Christmas Child.
